New leaks are hinting that Fortnite‘s upcoming Crew Pack skin for July 2025 could be a clever nod to the Reboot Van, one of the game’s iconic mechanics.
If the leak holds up, players subscribed to the Fortnite Crew service in July will receive a superhero-style skin called Reboot Man, a humanoid spin on the well-known in-game feature.
Fortnite has been at the top of the live service game world for years, and over time, a real subculture has formed around its development and in-game events.
Longtime fans often look back fondly at earlier seasons of Battle Royale, with throwback events like Fortnite OG tapping into that nostalgia.
Epic Games knows exactly how to play into that history, occasionally remixing or reviving classic skin concepts to spark those memories.
Now, a new leak from Fortnite news account ShiinaBR suggests that the July 2025 Crew Pack will be another one of those nostalgic nods.
According to a leaked screenshot, the upcoming skin is superhero-themed—but not in the traditional sense. Instead of another crossover like Superman or Spider-Man, it’s based entirely on the Reboot Van from back in Season 8’s small team Battle Royale mode.
The skin, dubbed Reboot Man, reimagines the Reboot Van as a silver-and-blue armored character, complete with the iconic van logo front and center.

Here’s what the leak says will be included:
- Reboot Man Skin – part of the Supernova Academy set (Chapter 6 Season 3)
- LEGO Fortnite variant
- Back Bling – a mini Reboot Van mounted on the player’s back
- Harvesting Tools – dual “Reboot Swords”
- Alternate Styles – including a “mask off” look revealing a human face
So far, player reactions to the leak have been mostly positive. A lot of fans are calling it a fun and creative spin on one of Fortnite’s classic mechanics.
Some players even shared stories of clutch plays using Reboot Vans back in the day, saying this skin brought back a lot of good memories.
Of course, there are always a few skeptics—some players are a bit tired of superhero-style skins and are hoping for something a little more outside the box in the future.
Still, the idea of turning the Reboot Van into a full-blown Fortnite character shows just how deep the game’s own lore has become.
While Fortnite is still best known for its massive crossovers with pop culture giants and real-world celebrities, Epic has clearly been building up its own original mythology—and skins like Reboot Man prove they’re not afraid to get creative with it.
If this leak turns out to be accurate, July’s Crew Pack could be a memorable one for players who’ve been around since the early days of Fortnite’s evolving world.
