The Forgotten Battlefield is a key story location in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and it’s packed with useful items like weapons, Pictos, and upgrade shards. If you’re aiming for 100% completion, this guide will help you grab every important collectible scattered across this battle-worn map.
💡 Note: Chroma currency isn’t listed here—it’s found all over the place, so we’re only covering unique items and upgrades.
🌉 Main Gate Area
🧪 Chroma Catalyst
Just beyond the Main Gate flag, cross a wooden ramp to grab this upgrade.
🗡 Ramasson (Weapon) + Longer Shell (Pictos)
Defeat the first Nevron on the critical path.
🌈 Colour of Lumina (1)
From the first Nevron, go left at the fork, then right at the second fork to reach an alcove.
🌈 Colour of Lumina (2)
Back at that second fork, go left this time. You’ll find another Nevron and a Lumina reward.
🗡 Troubadim (Weapon)
Climb the stairs in that same alcove and beat three Nevrons.
💊 Healing Tint Shard
Go past where the Nevrons stood and look left.
🎨 Recoat
Short path left of the Healing Tint leads here.
🎯 Sweet Kill (Pictos)
Take the ramp near the Healing Tint and defeat the Nevron at the top.
⚡ Energising Start IV (Pictos)
Head back to the first fork, go right, and look left at the bottom of the slope.
🩺 Revive Tint Shard
At the top of the slope, take the narrow path left of the hammer-wielding Nevron.
🏰 Fort Ruins Area
🎨 Paint Spike
After defeating the hammer Nevron, climb rocks and stairs to reach the Fort Ruins flag. Keep going until you find a Paint Spike that needs four Lost Gestrals to break.
💥 Energising Death (Pictos)
After the Paint Spike, climb the stairs into a building. It’s on the edge.
🌈 Colour of Lumina (3)
Inside the same building, in a chest.
🌈 Colour of Lumina (4)
Outside the building, defeat a group of Nevrons to get this one.
🛡 Vanguard Point Area
- 🔋 Energy Tint Shard
Descend the cannon next to the Vanguard Point flag, then move forward and right to a crate pile.
⚔ Battlefield Area
🌈 Colour of Lumina (5)
From the Vanguard flag, head toward the Fading Woman. The Battlefield flag is nearby—there’s a Lumina just right of that flag.
🎲 Petank Encounter
Look to the right of the Battlefield area. Chase and defeat the Petank for multiple rewards.
📜 Journal 41
From the Fading Woman, follow the right path and enter the first left alcove.
🌈 Colour of Lumina (6)
Right outside Journal 41’s alcove.
🗡 Lusteson (Weapon) + Energising Parry (Pictos)
Defeat the Chromatic Luster past the last Lumina.
💪 Empowering Tint (Pictos)
Go back to the Lumina spot and enter the alcove across from it. Climb the gold thread on the left.
🧪 Chroma Elixir Shard (Paint Cage Puzzle)
From the Fading Woman, follow the path behind her. At a fork, go left and destroy the lock hidden in crates. Then go right at the fork and find two more locks (one near the cage, one across the alcove entrance) to open the Paint Cage.
📜 Journal 57
After the Elixir, keep moving forward into a small open area.
🛍 Merchant
Right of Journal 57 is a building with a gold thread inside. At the top is a vendor selling:
- Inverted Affinity (Pictos)
- Benisim (Weapon)
- Obscur Outfit (Maelle)
🏛 Ancient Bridge Area
- 🗡 Dualiso (Weapon) + Combo Attack I (Pictos)
Defeat the boss Dualliste. - 🌈 Colour of Lumina (7)
After leaving Dualliste’s pit, climb a wall on the left and fall off the far side. - 🔋 Revive Tint Energy (Pictos)
Continue along the main path into the forested ruins. It’s in the middle of the area.
