Blood Message, which was only just revealed earlier this June, might actually be closer to release than anyone expected.
According to a new report, the upcoming action-adventure game from 24 Entertainment could arrive as early as late 2026, with a launch price of $70.
The leak comes from insider Lunatic Ignus, who shared the info in a recent Twitter post. The leaker expressed surprise at the rumored release window, saying, “It’s closer than we thought.”
According to Ignus, Blood Message was greenlit back in 2018, but full development only began in 2021.
It was apparently supposed to be unveiled in 2023, which might explain why the official reveal and the supposed launch are only a year or so apart.
Developed by 24 Entertainment, a NetEase-owned Chinese studio, Blood Message is a third-person, story-driven action-adventure title coming to PC and consoles.
While not much official info is out yet, the leak suggests the game draws strong inspiration from the God of War franchise.
Interestingly, its director is also said to be “close friends” with Feng Ji, the creative lead on Black Myth: Wukong.
That connection alone is enough to raise some eyebrows and stir hype—especially considering how popular Black Myth has been with fans of high-quality action RPGs.
What the Leak Tells Us About Blood Message
- Target Release Window: Second half of 2026
- Estimated Price: $70 USD
- Platform: PC and consoles
- Inspiration: God of War, possibly Black Myth: Wukong
- Development Timeline: Greenlit in 2018, active dev since 2021
- Reveal Timing: Was reportedly meant to happen in 2023
While it’s smart to approach all leaks with a bit of caution, Lunatic Ignus has a solid track record, including correctly leaking the PS5 Pro announcement window last year. So there may be more truth to this rumor than you’d expect from a typical internet leak.
Blood Message joins a growing list of highly anticipated Chinese-made AAA games, riding the momentum built by titles like Black Myth: Wukong, Phantom Blade Zero, and Tides of Annihilation.
With expectations for Chinese studios at an all-time high, it’ll be fascinating to see how Blood Message develops over the next year—and whether it really does launch in 2026.
