The upcoming rotation leans heavily into Lunar-Charged and Nightsoul-aligned DMG, bringing some major boosts for current banner characters—especially Ineffa and Natlan Melt comps.
While modes like Stygian Onslaught and Imaginarium Theater have added more endgame variety, Spiral Abyss remains the game’s toughest PvE challenge. And let’s be real—clearing Floor 12 in time is still the ultimate DPS test.
📈 HP Inflation Hits Hard
Compared to Version 4.8, Floor 12 in 5.8 will have a whopping 88.35% more total HP, meaning you’ll need to crank out nearly double the damage just to clear within the timer. While Ley Line Disorders are back to help offset this, they mainly favor characters tied to the current banners.
In short: If you’re not running recently released 5-Stars, things might get a little sweaty.

This Abyss cycle will overlap with the release of Nod-Krai, Genshin’s next region. Leaks suggest that Version 6.0 will introduce two new 5-Star characters:
- A Male Electro
- A Female Geo
