GTA Online players, mark your calendars—Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that the Money Fronts update is landing on Tuesday, June 17. Whether you’re on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, or PC, the summer update is rolling out to everyone and, yep, it’s totally free. Expect new businesses, vehicles, missions, and plenty more to dive into.
Even though GTA Online has been around for almost twelve years, Rockstar isn’t slowing down on updates. The last big content drop, Agents of Sabotage, came out in December 2024 and introduced a new Garment Factory business, upgraded the Terrorbyte, added new vehicles, and brought a bunch of quality-of-life improvements. But if you’ve been waiting for something fresh, your patience is finally paying off.
In a recent blog post, Rockstar gave us a full look at what’s coming in Money Fronts. The main focus this time? Expanding your criminal empire by buying up “iconic local businesses” and turning them into money laundering fronts. And you won’t be doing it alone—Martin Madrazo is back to help set you up with new advisors who’ll guide you through growing your operation and turning that dirty money into clean profit.

When’s the GTA Online Summer Update?
June 17 is the big day. That’s when Money Fronts drops across all platforms.
One of the key additions is the Hands On Car Wash, your gateway into the money laundering game. Rockstar describes it as a “low-profile and cash-intensive” business that’s perfect for hiding illegal activity behind a clean, legitimate front. The best part? It also generates passive income while you’re out raising hell elsewhere in Los Santos.
You’ll also be able to purchase two additional fronts: the Smoke on the Water dispensary and Higgins Helitours. These will boost the productivity (and profitability) of your existing Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo businesses, giving you even more ways to grow your empire.
While fans continue to wait for Grand Theft Auto 6—which was recently delayed to May 26, 2026—Money Fronts should help keep things fresh in the meantime. With new businesses, expanded income options, and more content to explore, GTA Online isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
