Eevee is back in the spotlight for Pokémon GO’s July 2025 Community Day Classic, and it’s shaping up to be a perfect mix of nostalgia and shiny hunting. Whether you missed out on Eevee’s original CD appearances or just want another shot at completing your shiny Eeveelution lineup, this event has everything you need.
Here’s a full breakdown of the event schedule, featured moves, research tasks, bonuses, and everything else trainers need to know.

Community Day Classic: Date & Time
This Eevee-themed Community Day Classic is spread across two days, giving you more time to catch, evolve, and earn rewards:
- 🗓️ Saturday, July 5, 2025 – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time)
- 🗓️ Sunday, July 6, 2025 – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time)
Shiny Eevee & Featured Attacks
Eevee will spawn more frequently during the event, and if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Eevee!
All Eevee caught or hatched during the event will know the Charged Move: Last Resort.

- Espeon: Walk 1km with Eevee as Buddy, evolve during day
- Umbreon: Walk 1km with Eevee as Buddy, evolve at night
- Sylveon: Earn 7 hearts with Eevee as Buddy
- Espeon: Walk 1km with Eevee as Buddy, evolve during day
🕙 All evolution bonuses return to normal on July 12 at 10:00 PM (local time)
Field Research
Available at PokéStops throughout the event. Sample task:
Catch 3 Eevee
Rewards (randomized):
- Eevee encounter (Shiny chance)

Other field tasks may include:
- Win a 5-Star Raid
