Water is life in Dune: Awakening, so it makes sense that finding a solid water container is a top priority. One of the best early options is the Hajra Literjon Mk1, a handy item you can unlock to help you carry and store water while roaming the brutal desert landscapes.
How to Get the Hajra Literjon Mk1 Schematic
To unlock the Hajra Literjon Mk1, make your way to the Griffin’s Reach Tradepost in Hagga Basin. Look for Myr Charki and buy the schematic from them—it’ll cost you 500 Solaris. Once you’ve got it, just hop into your inventory, click the item, and hit “Research Schematic” to permanently unlock the recipe.
You’ll need either a General Fabricator or a Survival Fabricator to actually craft the container. Since the General Fabricator is unlocked earlier through the main questline, it’s the easiest choice. What You Need to Craft the Hajra Literjon Mk1
To build the Literjon Mk1, you’ll need three main ingredients:
- Copper Ingot
- Micro-Sandwich Fabric
- Spice-Infused Copper Dust
Let’s break down where to find each one.
Where to Find Copper Ingots
First, mine Copper Ore in the Hagga Basin. These nodes have blue veins and are easy to spot. Use the Improvised Cutteray to break big chunks, or scoop up smaller pieces lying nearby.
Once you’ve got enough ore, keep progressing through the main quests until you unlock the Small Ore Refinery. Craft it using 90 Salvaged Metal. Four raw Copper gives you one Copper Ingot, and you’ll need 16 Ingots, so mine accordingly.

Where to Find Micro-Sandwich Fabric
This one’s a bit easier—it’s a raw material found in Moisture Sealed Caves, which are marked as orange icons on the map. The entrances are sealed by barriers, so slash through with a knife. Inside, look for chests, which often contain the fabric you’re after.
Where to Find Spice-Infused Copper Dust
This is the trickiest of the three. You can find Spice-Infused Copper Dust in shipwrecks or at the Imperial Testing Station No. 2. Look for big, guarded chests—some might be hidden or blocked by a barrier. Search thoroughly!
How to Use the Hajra Literjon Mk1 to Manage Water
Once you’ve got your container, it’s time to put it to use. After converting blood into water using a Blood Purifier, toss your Hajra Literjon Mk1 into your inventory. Then just click “Deposit Water” to fill it up.
You can assign it to your equipment wheel to keep it handy while out exploring. When you’re thirsty, just take a sip. Need to transfer water back to the purifier? Pop the container into your inventory and hit “Extract Water”.
Bottom line: the Hajra Literjon Mk1 is a must-have tool for surviving the desert. Once you get the hang of crafting and using it, staying hydrated in Dune: Awakening becomes a whole lot easier.
