What’s New in Trials This Week

This season, Trials is looking fresh with some quality-of-life updates, two returning weapons you can grind for, and a reworked Passage system that’s way easier to navigate.

The two weapons making a comeback are:

  • Exalted Truth
  • Keen Thistle

Both are farmable throughout the Heresy episode, so don’t stress if RNG isn’t on your side right away.

Trials Maps This Week

For the week of June 24, 2025, Trials will rotate across these three maps:

  • Dissonance
  • Eventide Labs
  • Cirrus Plaza

Each has its own vibe and flow, so plan your loadout accordingly. Eventide’s tight layout calls for close-range aggression, while Dissonance and Cirrus might let you stretch your long-range legs a bit.

Featured Weapon This Week

From June 4 through July 8, the featured Trials weapon is Shayura’s Wrath. It’s a fan-favorite SMG that absolutely shreds in close-quarters, so if you’re looking for a lethal PvP roll, now’s your shot.

Once you earn it at least once, you’ll be able to focus it using Trials Engrams — no more praying to RNGesus for that perfect roll.

Vendor Rank Rewards

Saint-14 is still the man in charge at the Tower’s hangar. As you level up your Trials rank with him, here’s what you can expect to earn:

  • Rank 4 – 2x Upgrade Modules
  • Rank 7 – 3x Enhancement Prisms
  • Rank 10 – Random Trials weapon (varies by reset count)
  • Rank 13 – 2x Upgrade Modules
  • Rank 16 – Another Trials weapon (varies by reset)
  • Reset Rank – 1x Ascendant Shard

You’ll earn Trials Engrams as you go, and once you’ve unlocked a weapon, you can keep farming it through focusing. Plus, going Flawless gets you Adept weapons and armor with boosted stats.

The New Passage System

Episode Heresy brought in a total rework to Trials Passages. There are only two now, and they’re both a lot more straightforward:

The Lighthouse Passage

  • Reach seven wins to get into the Lighthouse
  • Losses don’t eliminate you anymore
  • Bigger win streaks = better rewards
  • This one’s built for high-skill, go-Flawless Guardians

The Trials of Osiris Passage

  • Doesn’t grant Lighthouse access
  • Matches based on performance
  • Chill, low-stakes, and great for farming

Pick your lane based on how sweaty you’re feeling this weekend.

Trials Reset Time

Trials of Osiris kicks off every Friday at 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 5PM GMT and sticks around until the weekly reset on Tuesday. Plenty of time to farm, rage, and maybe — just maybe — go Flawless.

Before heading in, hit up Saint-14 in the hangar to grab your Passage, check your builds, and prep your squad. Whether you’re going all-in for Adept loot or just farming engrams with your friends, Trials this week is worth jumping into.
