Best Attackers in R6 – Tier List

What These Tiers Mean:
- S-Tier: Best in class. Always solid picks, no matter the situation.
- A-Tier: Really strong, but maybe a little more situational or map-dependent.
- B-Tier: Decent, but need the right comp or setup to shine.
- C-Tier: Only works well if your squad is stacked or has a specific plan.
- D-Tier: Not great right now—pick at your own risk unless they’re your personal fave.
💥 S-Tier Highlights (Attackers)
Ace – One of the most reliable hard breachers in the game. His SELMA gadgets open up walls and hatches easily, and the AK-12 slaps. Just watch out for Kaid tricks.
Ash – The OG entry fragger. Fast, aggressive, and built for breaking defenses and faces. Still one of the most fun picks if you’re feeling bold.
Blackbeard – Somehow still relevant. His face shield gives him that peek advantage, and he’s great for pushing soft walls or corners.
Brava – Basically Twitch 2.0, but with gadget hacking. Turning enemy utility against them is just super satisfying.
Buck – Vertical play king. He’s got great weapons and now even packs hard breach charges. If you like opening up floors, he’s your guy.
Deimos – That little tracking drone? Yeah, it’s a game-changer. Great intel, but you’ll need to play smart since you can only use the .44 while tracking.
Dokkaebi – Ring-ring! Everyone’s exposed. Combine that with her ability to take over cams, and she’s a support player’s dream.
Grim – Buffed and better. With Hard Breach Charges and more effective hives, he’s finally found a solid spot in the meta.
Maverick – Still one of the most versatile attackers. His torch quietly eats through walls, and he’s great for solo plays or flanking.

What the Tiers Mean:
Same deal as Attackers—
- S-Tier: Can carry games, even without perfect team comms.
- A-Tier: Great utility and flexibility, but not quite broken.
- B-Tier: Good situationally. Not bad, not amazing.
- C-Tier: Gotta really know what you’re doing here.
- D-Tier: Just… not it right now.
🔐 S-Tier Highlights (Defenders)
Azami – Those Kiba Barriers are lifesavers. Great for plugging breaches or creating cover on the fly. Tons of clutch potential.
Clash – Her rework is wild. She went from the bottom of the barrel to S-tier overnight. Mobility + shield + taser = a frustrating nightmare for attackers.
Fenrir – Basically Valorant’s Omen with vision denial. Drop a mine, block vision, and let your team clean up.
Kaid – Still the go-to for electrifying hatches. Especially strong when Thatcher’s banned.
Kapkan – Classic trapper. Put two traps on a door and watch attackers explode. Great on maps with lots of entry points.
Lesion – His mines still hurt. He’s versatile and offers solid intel. A bit less scary than before, but still a strong pick.
Melusi – Slow, stall, and annoy attackers to death. Her Banshees are great for holding down key areas.
Mute – The perfect counter to info-heavy teams. Also great for stopping drones and breaching gadgets.
Smoke – The king of stalling. Perfect for those tense, last-second plants. His gas grenades can easily win rounds.
🔁 What Changed in Y10S2?
So what’s different this season? Here’s the quick rundown:
- Clash got a major glow-up and jumped from being nearly useless to top-tier. Her mobility now makes her way more deadly.
- Sledge climbed from C to B-tier thanks to his hammer now smacking shields in one swing.
- Blackbeard’s shield was tweaked visually/audio-wise, but he’s still a strong pick.
- Twitch, Kali, and Castle rose in the rankings, thanks to the Pick & Ban system forcing more strategic team comps.
- Alibi dropped hard from B to C-tier—her clones just aren’t fooling anyone anymore.
The meta’s in a pretty good place right now. Even lower-tier Operators can still work in the right hands or with the right team comp. That said, if you’re just looking to win more consistently, stick with the S and A-tiers.
