Xbox keeps leveling up its “Stream Your Own Game” program, and the latest update is a pretty exciting one.
They’ve just dropped 15 more games into the mix for Game Pass Ultimate members—including heavy hitters like Final Fantasy 16, Nier: Automata, and the just-released MindsEye.
This feature lets you stream games you already own using Xbox Cloud Gaming, which is especially great if you haven’t grabbed one of those shiny new handheld gaming devices yet.
The Stream Your Own Game feature only kicked off earlier this year, but Xbox is already keeping things fresh.
Earlier this June, they added a massive batch of 22 games like Just Cause 4, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, and most of the Life is Strange series.
Some titles made total sense for cloud play, while others (looking at you Just Dance and Mortal Kombat X) might test your Wi-Fi’s patience.
Now, they’re back with another round—15 games this time, but arguably a stronger and more timely list.
You’ve got MindsEye (just launched June 10), the throwback favorite Borderlands 2 (perfect timing with Borderlands 4 on the way), and Final Fantasy 16, which only just became available to Xbox players a couple of weeks ago.
Here’s the full list of the new titles now available to stream:
- Back 4 Blood
- Borderlands 2
- Date Everything!
- Dordogne
- Final Fantasy 16
- Isonzo
- Lego 2K Drive
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Revenge
- MindsEye
- My Time at Sandrock
- Nier: Automata
- Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath
- The First Descendant
- Tour de France 2025
- Valheim
Multiplayer fans will find some gems here too. The First Descendant—a Destiny-style live service game—fits cloud streaming perfectly with its daily login challenges and grindy quests. Valheim is another strong pick for co-op survival fans. Back 4 Blood, on the other hand, could be a bit hit or miss.
As a twitchy FPS, it might suffer from cloud latency issues depending on your connection.
It looks like Xbox isn’t slowing down anytime soon with these updates, which totally tracks with their big “Play Anywhere” mission.
With more Xbox titles making their way to PlayStation and devices like the ROG Ally on the horizon, it’s clear Xbox is all-in on giving players more ways to game wherever they are.
