Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global is almost here, and Niantic isn’t holding back. As part of the final and most hyped leg of the year’s biggest Pokémon GO event, Zacian and Zamazenta are getting even more powerful—and we’re here for it.
These two Legendary heroes from Galar have already had some pretty iconic moments in Pokémon GO.
Zacian made its debut during 2021’s Ultra Unlock Part 3: Sword and Shield event, and its Shiny form finally arrived in 2024’s Legendary Heroes event.
Zamazenta followed the same rollout path—first appearing in 2021 and getting its Shiny debut in 2024 during the Galarian Expedition.
Fast-forward to 2025, and Niantic has now added Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, along with their Shiny forms, as part of GO Fest 2025.
But there’s more: both are getting brand-new Adventure Effects to boost your squad during key moments in the game.
🔥 New Adventure Effects: Here’s How They Work
To activate these powerful effects, you’ll need to have the Crowned forms of Zacian and Zamazenta:
Zacian’s Behemoth Blade Effect
- Must be in Crowned Sword form
- Charged Attack Iron Head changes to Behemoth Blade
- Activate the Behemoth Blade Adventure Effect using:
- 5,000 Stardust
- 5 Zacian Candy
- 5,000 Stardust
- Effect: Boosts your Pokémon’s attack power during Raids and Max Battles for 6 minutes.
Zamazenta’s Behemoth Bash Effect
- Must be in Crowned Shield form
- Charged Attack Iron Head changes to Behemoth Bash
- Activate the Behemoth Bash Adventure Effect using:
- 5,000 Stardust
- 5 Zamazenta Candy
- 5,000 Stardust
- Effect: Boosts your Pokémon’s defense during Raids and Max Battles for 6 minutes.
These new Adventure Effects give players a strategic edge, especially when going up against tougher Raid Bosses or participating in high-stakes Max Battles.
